FOWLERS CELEBRATE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF BEING A LIMITED COMPANY
On the 6th October 1961 Fowlers of Bristol (Engineers) became a limited company, 60 years on and in the face of adversity the company is still trading and is now going from strength to strength.
The past 18 months to say the least has been a tough time for the company. We were heavily reliant on the aerospace industry and when COVID 19 struck things were looking bad.
It’s been a worrying time, but over this period the company has adapted and become a leaner, more competitive organisation, this has resulted in winning business from new sectors. This would not have been possible without the drive and enthusiasm from our staff and it is true to say that a company is nothing without its employees.
To celebrate not only the anniversary of the company but the success of turning what was a bleak situation into what is now a positive looking future the Directors and staff celebrated by going out for a few drinks and watching Bristol Bears Vs Bath Rugby in a fiercly contested local derby. The Bears of course won!! Turning it in to a treble celebration.
So today we celebrate our 60th anniversary, it is a big achievement in itself. It’s not just a celebration for the staff today but a celebration for all who have been a part of the company throughout all those years and even before that when the company was a simple partership dating back to 1918!!
The word ‘impossible’ has been and must remain deleted from our dictionary, after this year… anything is possible, congratulations to the Fowlers Team. 👏👏👏
